Real Problem is identified and opportunities are validated

STAGE 3
Solution Concept developed
The project killers have been identified and proven that they can be eliminated. A solution morphology has been developed that identifies multiple ways in which the solution can be delivered.
STAGE 4
Low fidelity prototype tested
Low-fidelity prototypes (hand-built models or computer models) have been developed and validated to prove solutions can be developed.
STAGE 5
High fidelity MVP developed
A high-fidelity MVP is developed to prove that the functional objectives of the product can be met and the customer problem can be solved.
STAGE 6
Pilot test for desirability
The customer desirability of the solution is tested with a carefully selected audience. Customer willingness to pay for the solution is validated by the target audience.

Feasibility and viability assessed
The technology readiness level is validated and the investment readiness level is assessed. The business model canvas is prepared. A minimum marketable product is ready.
STAGE 8
Commercialization and Business model evaluated
The product is used by customers in their actual environment. The eco system and partners are identified and enrolled. The business model is validated and adjustments are made. The client acquisition process is developed and validated by developing a healthy funnel.
STAGE 9
Scale up process is effective
Scale-up strategy (Spinout, new BU, licensing etc) is developed. Organization building and transfer to business operation from the innovation team completed. The partner and production ecosystem is fully functional and scaled up.
